South_City_Spring Thomas Park audio treetrunk Mystified's acquisition of a recording device has ushered in a new era for the band. Rather than mixing pre-created sounds or sounds created by other artists, mystified has embarked on the delicious task of making his own sounds from scratch-- or, rather, harvesting them from his surroundings, in phonographic style. Using this new device and a cheap microphone (soon to be replaced), mystified has captured through sound collage and direct recording the experience of apartment life in South City Saint Louis.
